Art to Wear
Levy-Golden
Although we maintain separate studios and bodies of work, Jane Levy and I began a collaboration in 2010. The ability to work together allows for the materials potential to emerge based on the our shared interest in form, decoration, and richly textured surfaces. The aim is not to create a perfect piece. Imperfection is far more interesting. Drawn to the warm tones of bronze, and a natural sort of geometry that allows for irregularities, worn singly or in multiples, we consider these pieces to be be sculpture for the body.
